O, House Keeping, F &B

Our place is located in Silver City, right at B-29, which is close to Taxsheela School in Odhav. Being in this part of Gujarat means we see a lot of students and parents passing by every day. We handle housekeeping and food and beverage stuff from this office. It’s a practical setup. We have a lot of supplies tucked away in the back and there is always someone coming in or out to check on a job. The floors are usually clean because, well, that is what we do. Odhav is a busy area, so there is always a bit of dust coming in from the road, but we stay on top of it. We have a small table where we sit down to talk about the day's schedule. It isn't a big corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a ground-floor spot where we keep our gear and meet up. Sometimes the neighbors from Silver City drop by to ask a question. We know most of the people around here. The school nearby makes it loud in the mornings when the kids arrive, but it quietens down later. We just get on with the cleaning tasks and the food prep that’s required for the different sites we look after. It's straightforward work and we’ve been doing it out of this building for a while now without much fuss. There is nothing fancy about it, just us doing our jobs.
