Mumtaz Instant Masala

You can find us on Lal Bavana Timba Road, right near Moon Light in the Dariapur area. It is a lively neighborhood where everyone seems to know each other. We make instant masala mixes right here in our small facility. The process is pretty straightforward but it takes a lot of time to get the blends right. We don't use any high-tech labs or anything like that. We rely on our senses and years of experience. The kitchen area is always busy with the sound of mixers and the rustle of packets being filled. We have a few local women who help us with the hand-packing. It is a real community effort. Dariapur is a bit crowded, so deliveries can be tricky, but we have a guy with a rickshaw who knows all the shortcuts. We don't spend money on big ads. We just give out samples and let the taste do the talking. Our shop front is simple and a bit worn down, but the inside is where the magic happens. We have been doing this for years and haven't changed the recipes much because people like them the way they are. It’s a humble business. We just want to make sure people can cook a good meal without too much trouble. That’s what we do every day.
