This is the local MTNL office located in Mandawali, specifically at B-91/5 on the second floor of Joshi Colony. Being in I.P. Extension means we deal with a lot of the people living in the apartments around here. We aren't a sleek tech startup; we are the government telecom office people come to when their landline stops working or they have a question about their internet bill. It’s a lot of paperwork and people waiting in line. The office isn't the most modern place you’ll ever see. We have old desks and files stacked up, but that’s just how it is. We try to help everyone who comes in, even when the lines are long and people are frustrated. It’s a lot of troubleshooting and explaining how things work. Sometimes the systems are down, and we just have to tell people to come back tomorrow, which never goes over well. But the staff here lives in Delhi too, so we understand the problems. We've been in this second-floor spot for years. Most people in the colony know where we are. We don't do anything fancy, we just show up and try to keep the phones and internet running for the neighborhood. It’s a lot of work that people only notice when it stops working. We stay busy with the local crowd and try to get things fixed as they come in.
