Nutri-K Foods

Located at 156 Shankarjibhai Chawl, Nutri-K Foods is right opposite the Ongc Gate on Motera Road in the Sabarmati area. It’s a very busy part of the city, especially with all the activity around the Ongc Gate throughout the week. Our place in the chawl is where we handle all our food stuff. It’s not a giant factory with conveyor belts; it’s more of a traditional setup where things are done by hand. There is usually a lot of noise from the street and the nearby gate, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We spend the day preparing and packing things. It gets quite warm in the workspace, especially during the summer months. Sabarmati is a place with a lot of history, and we are just one of the many small businesses operating here. We don’t have a fancy office or a big sign. Most people find us just by looking for the Ongc Gate and then crossing the road. It’s a practical way for us to work. We just worry about the food we make and don't think about much else. We’ve been in this chawl for quite some time now and know most of the neighbors. It’s a busy, honest way to make a living, and we just keep at it day after day without too much fuss or bother.
