Nine Holidays

Our little office for Nine Holidays is in the R K Complex, which is right opposite the Home Science College in Mota Bazar. It’s a lively spot because of all the students walking around and the general buzz of the market. We don't have a giant staff or a fancy corporate setup. It’s just a couple of desks, some computers, and a lot of travel brochures that we keep in stacks for people to look at. People come in when they want to go somewhere else, and we spend our time looking up flights, trains, and hotels. It’s a lot of staring at screens and waiting for pages to load. Mota Bazar is always noisy, so we usually have the door closed to keep out the sound of the street vendors and the scooters. Sometimes students from the Home Science College pop in just to ask about prices for a weekend trip. We talk to people about where they want to go and try to find something that fits what they can afford. There’s no big secret to how we do things; we just use the same websites and systems as everyone else, but we take the time to sit and talk. The office gets a bit cramped when more than two people visit at once, but we pull up extra chairs. It’s a basic setup in R K Complex, and we’re happy to be part of the neighborhood.
