Maman Travels

We are Maman Travels, located right at A/4 in the Sarvoday Commercial Centre. If you know Ahmedabad at all, you know how busy it gets around Salapose Road and just off Relief Road. Our office isn't very big at all, but it’s where we spend most of our time every day from morning until late evening, I guess. There is always a lot of noise coming from the street because of the traffic and people walking by. We have been here for some time now, just handling travel bookings and helping folks who walk through the door. It is a bit of an older building, the Sarvoday Commercial Centre, but it’s a central spot for anyone in this part of town, really. Usually, we are just sitting at our desks surrounded by stacks of papers and old ledgers. People come in for all sorts of things, maybe a bus ticket or help with a long trip somewhere else. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fan going all day long. We don’t have any fancy decorations or anything like that in here. It’s just a practical space where we get the work done. You can find us easily if you are near the main road. We see the same faces every day, from the tea seller to the other shop owners nearby. It’s a simple life here at the office, just keeping track of dates and names for people’s journeys anyway.
