Mahan Travels

Our office for Mahan Travels is tucked away in the Khokhara Railway Colony, specifically at 846/10 in Maninagar East. Being in a railway colony means we see a lot of people who are used to traveling or who work for the rails. It’s a bit of a specific spot in Ahmedabad. We spend our days looking at schedules and helping people figure out how to get from one place to another. The office is small and filled with papers and old ledgers. We use the computer a lot for bookings, but there is still plenty of physical paperwork to file. Maninagar is a crowded area, so there is always noise outside our door. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we have to ask customers to wait a bit longer than we’d like. We handle a lot of local travel requests. It isn't a glamorous job, mostly just answering the phone and writing down details. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are too busy to get around to it. Most people come to us because we are right here in the neighborhood. We know the shortcuts and which buses are usually late. We’ve been at this address for quite some time now. It’s a practical business for a practical part of town. We just try to get the tickets right so nobody gets stuck somewhere they don't want to be on their trip.
