Lion Tel

We are located over at the Taraporwala Blocks in Gujarat. It’s a well-known spot in the neighborhood and we’ve been here for a good while. Lion Tel is basically a small operation where we deal with phones and communication stuff. If you walk into the building, you’ll see our space is filled with wires, old phone cases, and a few computers that have seen better days. It’s not the neatest office you’ll ever see, but we know where everything is. People come in when their screens are cracked or when they can’t get their sim cards to work right. We spend a lot of time squinting at small parts and trying to explain to people why their gadgets aren't doing what they're supposed to. The traffic outside can get a bit loud, especially in the afternoons, but we just turn up the radio and keep working. We don't really have a big marketing plan or anything fancy like that. Most of our customers are just people from the nearby blocks who know us by name. Sometimes we can fix a problem in five minutes and other times it takes three days because we have to wait for a part to arrive from the city. It’s just regular daily life in a small repair shop. We try to be fair and just tell people straight if something is worth fixing or if they should just buy a new one because it would be cheaper.
