Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd

We are located over at A-5 Parthsarthi Tower, which is right near Gulab Tower on that Sun N Step Club Road. Thaltej is a pretty busy part of Ahmedabad these days and it feels like there is always construction or something going on outside our windows. This branch of Kotak Mahindra Bank has been here for a bit now and we mostly spend our time dealing with the usual crowd that comes in for their daily banking. It isn't anything like the big corporate headquarters you see on TV; it’s just a regular office where we handle accounts and paperwork. The staff here is mostly local people who know the shortcut through the back lanes to avoid the traffic on the main road. Sometimes the air conditioning acts up when it gets really hot in May, but we just deal with it. People come in, they want their passbooks updated or they have questions about a loan, and we do what we can. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and looking at screens, but we get to talk to the neighbors quite a bit. You can see the club from here, and sometimes in the evenings it gets even busier around the tower. We don’t have a big fancy lobby, just the chairs for people to wait. It’s a straightforward place to work and we just try to keep things moving along without too much trouble.
