Kobawala Travel House, Ahmedabad

We are over here at A-11 in Block-C of the United Apartments. It’s right near the Dayanand Society in Juhapura, on the Sarkhej Road side of Ahmedabad. Being Kobawala Travel House means we spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at train and bus schedules. The office isn't huge, but it fits us just fine. There are always papers on the desks and maps on the walls. Most days, people just walk in off the street wanting to know how to get somewhere else. Ahmedabad 380 055 is our area. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Traffic on Sarkhej Road can be a real headache in the evenings, so we usually stay late to finish things up. It’s a simple setup. We have a few computers and some chairs for people to sit while we figure out their tickets. It’s not fancy, just a regular place where we work. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a break. We handle a lot of different trips. People want to go on vacation or visit family far away. We just look up the prices and tell them what is available. It’s a lot of typing and checking dates. If you are looking for United Apartments, we are in the C block, just upstairs. It is a quiet building mostly, except for when the kids are playing outside in the courtyard.
