Kitchen Fresh

Our little shop, Kitchen Fresh, is tucked into Shop No. 9 at the Anand Mangal Complex. If you know the Vejalpur area, we’re right across from Sagar Samarthan. It’s a decent spot. We’ve been here for a while now. Most days it’s just about getting the stock in and making sure everything is where it should be. It gets a bit cramped in here when we have a lot of deliveries arriving at once, but we manage. My cousin helps out sometimes when things get extra busy. We focus on keeping things simple. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just drop in. You see the same faces every week, which is nice. Sometimes the traffic outside is a nightmare, but inside it’s just the usual routine. We keep the place clean and try to stay organized, though some days are harder than others. It’s not a fancy corporate office, just a local business trying to make a living in Vejalpur. We deal with all sorts of food items and try to keep them as fresh as the name says. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do. Not much else to say really. We open up early and stay till the sun goes down. Most of the time, we’re just busy packing bags or checking the inventory. It’s a living that suits us well enough for now.
