We are located in D 4/104 at Satyam Apartment. It’s right across from the Swastika Bungalows here in Ahmedabad. Elevators are one of those things nobody thinks about until they stop working. That’s where we come in. We spend a lot of our time looking at blueprints and talking to guys on construction sites. Our office in 380021 is usually full of technical manuals and spare parts. It’s not the cleanest place, but it’s where the real work gets done. We handle the installations and the repairs for buildings around Gujarat. Some days we are out in the sun all day, and other days we’re stuck here doing the billing. It’s a small team, so everyone knows everyone’s business. We don't put on airs. If an elevator needs fixing, we go fix it. The apartment block we’re in is pretty quiet, which is nice when things get stressful. We’ve been at this address for a good bit now. People know us as the lift folks. It’s steady work. Sometimes the parts take a while to arrive, and we have to explain that to frustrated building managers. We just tell it like it is. No fancy talk or corporate nonsense. We’re just local people making sure the lifts keep moving up and down without a hitch. If you’re near the bungalows, you’re close to us. That’s about it, really. Just a regular business doing its thing in the neighborhood.
