Khichdi Works Llp

Our little setup is tucked away in South Bopal, right near Gala Gymkhana Road. We are at Upvan Villa, which is a quiet enough spot in the Dascroi area. Khichdi Works Llp is basically just a few of us who really care about simple food. We spend most of our time in the kitchen area testing out different grains and mixes. It’s not a big corporate office; it feels more like a home kitchen that got a bit too big for its own good. You can usually find someone here from early morning till late evening. We’ve got bags of rice and lentils stacked up in the corner because we are always running out of space. Living and working in Ahmedabad means things are always moving fast, but we try to keep it calm inside our doors. We don't have a marketing team or anyone in a suit. It’s just us in our aprons, trying to make sure the khichdi mixes we put out are actually something we’d eat ourselves at home. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it’s quiet enough to hear the birds outside. We’ve been in this Bopal neighborhood for a bit now and the locals know us. It’s a decent place to work. We just take it one day at a time, making sure each batch is decent before it goes out. Sometimes we even forget to take a proper lunch break.
