Khaana Khazanna

You can find us over at M 35/1 on 7th Cross Street in Basant Nagar. It is a nice spot, close enough to the beach air but tucked away enough that it doesn't get too crazy with tourists. Khaana Khazanna is really just about the food we make here. We spend most of our mornings getting the kitchen ready and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when everyone is working at once, but we make it work. The street outside is usually quiet in the afternoons, which is nice. We aren't trying to be anything too special, just a place where you can get something to eat without a lot of fuss. Most of our regulars live right here in Basant Nagar and walk over. We know a lot of them by name now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the chairs have seen better days, but the kitchen is always busy. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or big posters. Word of mouth usually gets people through the door. Sometimes we run out of things earlier than expected, but that's just part of how we run the place. We keep it simple and focus on the cooking. If you happen to be on 7th Cross Street, you'll see us there. It’s a small shop but it has a lot of heart and some good smells coming out of the door most of the day.
