Our office is in A/110 of the Shabri Apartments, right near the Management Enclave in Vastrapur. Being in Ahmedabad, specifically near the Vastrapur area, means we are close to a lot of schools and other offices. The apartment itself has been converted into a workspace, so it still has that cozy, lived-in feel. We have bookshelves everywhere because legal research involves a lot of reading and looking things up in old volumes. It’s a quiet place most of the time, which is good because we need to concentrate. We aren't a big law firm with fancy mahogany desks. Instead, we have a few sturdy tables and some old chairs that have seen better days. We spend our hours digging through documents and writing reports. It can be tedious work, but it’s what we do. The neighborhood is nice, and we usually walk over to the local stalls for a quick snack in the evening. Sometimes the neighbors in the other apartments complain if we stay too late and make noise, but we try to be respectful. We don't have a polished corporate image. We are just a small group of researchers who know our way around legal texts. It’s a modest setup, and we prefer it that way because it lets us focus on the actual work without any distractions. It is a slow process but we enjoy the quiet rhythm of it.
