Our office is located in the Parishram Apartment building right on Satellite Road in Ahmedabad. If you know this part of Gujarat, you know how busy the roads can get, especially during the morning rush. We are in units 20 and 225, so we have a bit of space spread out across the floor. It’s mostly just desks, phones, and stacks of paper related to travel and flights. Being the GSA for Gulf Air means there’s always someone calling about a ticket or asking about flight times. We spend a lot of time looking at computer screens and talking to people on the phone. The office doesn’t have many decorations, maybe a few old calendars and some maps pinned to the wall. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find plush carpets or fancy coffee machines. We just make our own tea in the little pantry area and get on with the day. Most of us have been working here at Jetair for a long time, so we know the routine by heart. We handle the bookings and the paperwork without making too much of a fuss. It’s a steady job in a busy part of town. When the sun goes down, we lock up the filing cabinets and head home like everyone else on Satellite Road. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles with the heat outside, but we manage. We just focus on the daily pile of work and getting the details right.
