Jet Airways

We are located over in Naranpura at Kamdurga Society-1. It’s house number 20 on Ankur Road. It’s a residential-feeling area, so it doesn't always feel like you're going to an airline office. We’ve been here in Ahmedabad for a long time. The office itself is pretty basic. We have rows of desks, some old filing cabinets, and the sound of printers going off throughout the day. Working for an airline like Jet Airways means there is always something to do, whether it's dealing with cargo papers or helping with local ticketing issues. The street outside can get pretty crowded during the evening rush, but inside we just keep our heads down and get through the logs. We don't have a big lobby for people to wait in, so it’s mostly just us doing the background work. I usually bring my lunch from home and eat at the desk because it stays busy. The walls are a bit plain, maybe they could use some paint, but we're more focused on making sure the schedules are right. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, with new shops opening up on Ankur Road. It’s a steady place to work and we know the regulars who come by for their travel needs. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. We just handle the flights and the paperwork as it comes in and goes out.
