Our office is over at D 06 Manmandir Apartment, which is near the B.B.C. Hall in the Maninagar area of Ahmedabad. It is a local spot near Jawahar Chowk, a place that most people in this part of Gujarat know. We’ve been operating out of this apartment for a while, handling the day-to-day tasks that come with being in the airways business. It is not a fancy corporate headquarters with a lobby and a receptionist. Instead, it is just a practical space where we sit and work on flight details and customer queries. Maninagar is a lively neighborhood, so there is always something going on outside. We stay focused on the computers and the phones, making sure people get their tickets and their travel info on time. It is a lot of checking schedules and confirming seats. We don't have a big team or a lot of bells and whistles. We just do the job as it comes. Sometimes the office feels a bit small when we have a lot of paperwork to file, but we keep it organized. We like being part of the community here. Most of our day is spent answering the same kinds of questions, but we do not mind. It is steady work and it keeps us busy. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We are just here in Manmandir Appt., getting the work done and helping travelers get to where they need to go. Every day is different, but we stay consistent. It works.
