You can find us in the G.H.B. Colony over in Meghaninagar. The building number is 72/1709, which sounds like a lot, but it’s easy once you get into the colony. This is an older part of Ahmedabad, so the streets are narrow and always full of life. There are a lot of families living around us, so there is always the sound of kids playing or someone selling vegetables from a cart. Our office is pretty basic. We have the usual desks and some old cabinets for all the files we have to keep. It gets quite hot in the summer, and the ceiling fans have to work overtime to keep us cool. We’ve been at this address for a while, so we know the local shops pretty well. The tea from the corner stall is what keeps us going on long afternoons. It isn’t a flashy corporate building like the ones you see downtown. It’s just a practical space where we manage the local side of things for the airline. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, but we manage. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away at our computers. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s not a priority right now. We are just focused on getting the daily work finished so we can head home. It’s a real, hardworking environment without any of the extra polish.
