Inder Residency.

You can find us at Inder Residency over at 305 Gopi Flats in Sardar Nagar, Ahmedabad. It’s a pretty standard residential area, and our spot is inside one of the flat buildings there. It isn't like those huge hotels you see near the airport; it’s more of a local residency setup where things are a bit more low-key. We have been here for a while and most of the people who stay with us are just looking for a simple place to crash while they are in town for work or visiting relatives. The flats are regular Ahmedabad style, and we try to keep things clean and tidy for whoever is coming through. Sardar Nagar is a busy neighborhood, so there is always a lot of noise from the street, but that is just part of living in this city. We don't have a big fancy reception desk with a guy in a suit; it’s usually just one of us sitting there to hand over the keys and show people where things are. Sometimes the plumbing is a bit old because the building has been around, but we fix things as they break. It’s a very local way of doing things, nothing too polished or corporate. We just provide a place to stay and try to be helpful when someone asks for directions to the nearest market or a good place to eat.
