Iim (Sarovar Hotels)

We are located at 8 Gokuldham Apartments in Thaltej. This is where Iim (Sarovar Hotels) runs things from. It’s a bit of a funny spot for an office if you think about it, being in an apartment building, but it makes things feel a bit more like home. Bhaikaka Nagar is a decent area of Ahmedabad, and it’s usually quite busy with people going about their daily lives. Our office is number 25 in the building. It’s not very big, just a few rooms filled with desks and a lot of folders. We spend most of our time on the phone or on the computer, dealing with hotel stuff and making sure everything is lined up right. Sometimes the neighbors in the apartments pop by to say hello or ask a question. We don't have a big lobby or a sign that lights up the street at night. It’s just a small team of us trying to keep things organized. The traffic on the way into Thaltej can be a mess in the mornings, so we all usually show up a bit frazzled. But once we get the first cup of tea, things settle down. We’ve got a window that looks out onto the street, which is nice for people-watching when we take a break. It is a simple setup, nothing fancy, just a group of people working together in a regular apartment in Ahmedabad.
