Hutch

Our spot is located on Naroda Road, right near the NH-8 highway in Ahmedabad. If you know the Krishnanagar area, we are in the A/19/224 block. It is a busy place because of all the trucks and cars zooming past on the national highway, so there is always a bit of a hum from the traffic outside our windows. The office is pretty basic, with desks pushed together and lots of cables running along the floor for the computers. We get a lot of walk-ins, people from the nearby shops or residents from the colony who have issues with their mobile signals or just need to pay a bill. It gets quite dusty because of the road construction that never seems to end around here. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and talking into headsets, trying to sort out network problems. The AC struggles a bit when the Ahmedabad heat hits forty degrees, but we manage. There is an old water cooler in the corner that makes a weird rattling noise, and the cupboards are full of old SIM card kits and yellowing paperwork. It is not a glamorous setup, but it is where we work every day. We know the local tea stall owner by name and he knows exactly how much sugar we like in our afternoon cups. It is just a regular workplace where we try to keep things running for everyone.
