You can find us deep in the old city of Ahmedabad. Our address is at Haldalwalo Khancho, right in the Dhalni Pole area near Astodia Chakla. If you know the old city, you know how the lanes are. They are narrow and full of history. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a very long time. The building itself has seen a lot of years. We don't try to make it look like a modern hotel. It has its own character, with old wooden doors and stone floors that have been walked on by many generations. Most of us who work here grew up nearby or have been coming to this area since we were kids. It’s a busy place with shops and people everywhere. Sometimes the noise from the street comes in, but that is just part of being in the Pole. We serve food and have rooms, but it feels more like a big old house than a business. We keep things the way they’ve always been. There is no fancy management talk here. We just cook the food we know and look after the place. It takes a bit of work to maintain an old structure like this, but we don't mind. It's our home as much as it is a place for guests. People come here to see the real Ahmedabad, and we are right in the middle of it, doing things the old-fashioned way.
