Hotel Rock Regency

Our hotel is tucked away in Ambawadi, specifically behind Azad Society. Most people just look for the big BSNL tower to find their way here. We are in the Sumadhur 2 building, specifically at K-303. It’s not on the main highway, which makes it a bit quieter than some of the other places in Ahmedabad. I’ve been working at the front desk here, and it’s a lot of checking people in and making sure the kitchen has enough milk for the morning tea. The rooms are simple and we try to keep the sheets clean and the fans working right. In the summers, the heat here is something else, so the AC units get a lot of work. We aren't one of those five-star places with a hundred staff members. It’s just a few of us making sure things run okay. Sometimes the neighbors from the society walk by and say hello. We get a mix of business people and families visiting relatives nearby. It feels more like being part of a neighborhood than a cold business. I spend time making sure the hallways are swept and answering the phone when someone is lost trying to find the turn behind the tower. It’s a practical place to stay. Nothing too fancy, just a room and a bed in a decent part of the city where you can actually get some sleep at night without too much noise.
