Hotel Cambay

If you’re looking for Hotel Cambay, we’re tucked away at B1/34 in the Saffron Flats, right across from the Sarkari Tube Well in Bopal. It’s a busy spot in Ahmedabad, especially around that tube well area where people are always coming and going. The flats aren't brand new, but they’ve got a bit of character to them. We spend most of our time dealing with the usual day-to-day stuff that comes with running a place like this. The rooms are what they are, and we try to keep things tidy without being too obsessed with it. Bopal has changed a lot lately with all the new buildings, but our little corner feels mostly the same as it did a few years ago. We don't have any big speeches to give. We just open up in the morning and see what the day brings. Sometimes the plumbing acts up because of the old pipes, but we just call the guy and get it fixed. It’s a practical way of living and working. You can hear the sounds of the city outside all day long. We’ve got a few plants near the entrance that we forget to water sometimes, but they seem to be hanging in there. It’s just a regular building where people stay. Nothing too complicated about it. We’re just here doing our thing and hoping the traffic isn't too bad on the way home after a long shift.
