Hotel Anmol International, Ahmedabad

We’ve been set up here at Nathuabar in Jajpur for a while now. Even though the name mentions Ahmedabad, our day-to-day life happens right here in the Adampur post office area of Orissa. It’s a quiet spot most of the time, away from the big city noise. The building is just a normal structure where we handle everything. In the mornings, someone usually goes down to the local market to see what’s going on. We spend most of our time answering the phone or dealing with whatever comes through the door. Sometimes the weather gets really humid, so we keep the fans running all day. It’s a small team here, just a couple of us who know the neighborhood well. We don't have fancy office chairs or anything, just what we need to get the job done. People around here know where to find us if they need something. We try to keep the place tidy, but with the dust from the road, it’s a constant battle. Usually, by the afternoon, things slow down a bit and we have some tea. It's not a complicated operation, just a place for people to stay or get help with their travel stuff. We’ve seen the area change over the years, but the atmosphere here stays pretty much the same. It feels more like a home than a big corporate hotel most days, which suits us just fine. It’s not a fancy life, but we like the pace of it and getting to know the people who pass through.
