Honest Frozen Food Co.

Honest Frozen Food Co. is based out of the G.I.D.C. area, specifically in units 402 and 414. It’s a big industrial estate, so there is always a lot of movement and noise around us. We chose this spot because it has the space we need for our cold storage and handling. It’s not a pretty place, just a lot of concrete and metal, but it works for frozen food. We spend most of our time making sure everything stays at the right temperature and getting orders out on time. It’s a lot of physical work and keeping an eye on the machines. The name Honest is something we try to live up to in a simple way—just doing what we say we’ll do for people. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us here at the G.I.D.C. units. Some days are much longer than others, especially when a big shipment comes in. We’ve got our routine down now after being here for a while. It’s a bit cold inside for obvious reasons, so we’re usually bundled up even when it’s hot outside in the sun. If you’re looking for us, you’ll have to navigate the rows of the industrial estate. It can be a bit confusing if you haven't been here before. We’re just a straightforward frozen food business doing our thing every day in these units. We stay focused on the inventory and making sure everything is handled right without any fuss.
