Holiday Inn, Surat

This office is actually in Ahmedabad, even though we deal with things for the Holiday Inn in Surat. We are set up in Gaurav Apartment, which is at Bhaikaka Nagar in the Thaltej area. It is unit number 2 on the ground level. Working out of an apartment building feels a bit different than a regular office block. It is more residential and quiet around here. We have our computers and files set up in what used to be a living area. Most of our day is spent on the phone or sending messages back and forth to the hotel staff in Surat. We handle a lot of the administrative side of things from here. It is a bit of a commute for some of us, but Thaltej is a good area with decent places to grab lunch nearby. The apartment is small, so we have to stay organized with our folders and paperwork. We do not get many walk-in visitors, as most of our work is done remotely. Sometimes the neighbors come by to say hello, but mostly we just stick to our tasks. We keep a calendar on the wall to track the busy seasons. It is a practical way to run things without having a big, expensive office space. We just focus on the details and make sure the communication between here and Surat stays clear every day. It is just a steady office routine for us.
