Gujarat State Aids Control Soc.

The Gujarat State Aids Control Soc. is based in Ahmedabad, specifically in the Vatva area. Our office is at 9/B Khodiyar Nagar Row House Part-2. We are situated right near the Dharmbhumi Society. It’s a very residential part of town, so we are surrounded by families and local shops. Our office is a row house, which makes it feel a lot less like a cold government institution and more like a part of the neighborhood. We have a lot of people coming and going, and we try to keep things as organized as possible despite the constant activity. The desks are crowded with folders, and there’s usually a stack of forms waiting to be processed. We don't have a big budget for fancy decorations, so the walls are mostly covered with informational charts and calendars. It’s a working office in the truest sense. We’ve been here in Ahmedabad 382445 for a good number of years now. The people who work here are local folks who know the city well. We don't use a lot of polished language or corporate speak when we talk to people. We just try to be helpful and get the paperwork moved along. It can be a bit chaotic on busy days, but we manage. It’s an honest, grassroots kind of place where the focus is just on the task at hand and helping the community.
