Gujarat Positra Port Co. Ltd. operates out of A/10, Shivam Apartments in the Isanpur area. It might seem strange to run a port company from an apartment in Ahmedabad-382443, but that is where we are. We handle a lot of the planning and administrative side of things for the port operations from here. Isanpur is a very lived-in part of the city, so there are always kids playing outside or neighbors chatting in the hallways. Our office is just a regular unit that we’ve converted into a workspace. It’s full of maps, charts, and legal documents. We don't have a big corporate sign or a glossy brochure. Mostly, we are just a team of people sitting at desks making phone calls and checking schedules. The apartment stays cool in the summer, which is a blessing. We’ve been here long enough that the security guards know us all by name. It’s not a fancy place, and we don't try to make it look like one. We just focus on the logistics of moving things through the port. There is a lot of coordination involved with shipping and transport, and it all happens right here between these walls. We aren't into big speeches about our goals. We just want to make sure the ships and cargo are where they need to be. It is honest, day-to-day work in a quiet part of town. Sometimes the printer jams, but we get it fixed and keep moving.
