We’ve been set up here in Vejalpur for quite a while now. If you know the 132 Feet Ring Road, you probably know where the S M Overbridge is. Our office is right there in the Shilp Siddhi Apartment building, specifically in the B1 unit. It’s a busy part of Ahmedabad, so there’s always noise from the traffic outside, but we’re used to it. Most mornings start with someone making tea and opening up the windows to let some air in, though the dust from the road usually follows. We handle a lot of the technical side of things here at Globotel. It isn’t anything fancy, just a few rooms with desks, computers, and a lot of wires running along the walls. People come and go throughout the day, mostly just local folks or partners we’ve worked with for years. We don’t really do much in the way of big meetings; it’s more about sitting down and getting the work finished so we can go home. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which is good for the legs I suppose. We’ve kept things running this way for a long time without changing much. It’s a practical space and it works for what we need to do. Ahmedabad is hot most of the year, so the fans are always on. We just focus on the daily tasks and keeping the paperwork in order.
