Global Tour Visions

Global Tour Visions is based out of a house in Melmuri, which is a small area in the Malappuram district of Kerala. We are right by the post office here. Being in Kerala, we are surrounded by a lot of greenery and coconut trees, which makes for a peaceful place to work. The office is just a converted room in the house where we’ve set up some tables and a couple of laptops. We don't have a shop front on a main street, so most people find us through word of mouth or by just knowing where we live. We spend a lot of time arranging trips and tours for people in the village who want to go abroad or see other parts of India. It’s a slow pace of life here in Melmuri, and we like it that way. The rain can be very heavy during the monsoon season, sometimes making the roads a bit muddy, but we still manage to get things done. We usually have people dropping by for a chat or to drop off their passports for visa work. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so there’s always someone around to answer the door. We don't have any big corporate goals, we just want to help our neighbors see the world. Sometimes the power cuts out when the wind gets strong, so we just wait it out. It’s a simple life and a simple business here in our home. It's quiet and we get to hear the birds instead of city traffic.
