Being near the Ambaji Mata Temple means there is always something going on outside. The bells, the people walking by, it's a lively part of Ahmedabad. Inside the office, we handle a lot of things for Singapore Airlines. It's mostly about making sure seats are booked and the details are right. We spend a lot of time on the phone with the main office or talking to people who want to visit family abroad. The desks are a bit cluttered with brochures and old calendars. We try to keep things organized but when it’s busy, the papers tend to pile up. It’s just a small team of us working here. We take our lunch breaks together when we can. Sometimes the internet acts up and we have to wait a bit, but that's just how it goes. People come in asking about baggage rules or flight times. We give them the straight answers. No fluff. It’s just about getting the travel part of their life sorted so they can get on the plane. We’ve been in this building for quite a while. Most people in the society know us by now. It’s a steady rhythm of work, day in and day out, right here in the heart of Maninagar.
