Fortune Landmark (By Welcomgroup)

Our office is based in Ahmedabad at B 102 Shri Krishna Tower. This is in the Gujarat 380013 area of India. The tower is quite tall, but we are down on one of the lower floors. It’s a busy building with a lot of different offices, so there are always people coming and going in the hallways. We spend our day managing the details for the Welcomgroup property. There is a lot of back-and-forth communication with the hotel staff to make sure the guest bookings are handled correctly. Our desks are usually piled high with folders and printouts of room lists. We have a couple of computers that stay on all day, and the sound of the humming can be a bit much when the office is quiet. There is a security guard at the main entrance of the tower who knows us by name now since we’ve been here so long. We often have to run out to get snacks or more stationery from the shops nearby. The traffic in Ahmedabad can be quite loud, and we can hear the horns honking even through the windows. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy when we are in the middle of a busy season. We just do what needs to be done to keep the business running smoothly from this side of things. It’s a lot of routine, but we have a good rhythm going in the office.
