Our business is Fortune Hotel Landmark, Ahmedabad, but most of our actual office work happens at the address in Po-Bhanjpur, Baripada. It is located in the Mayurbhanj district of Orissa. Haraprasad Mandal is the one who keeps everything organized here. It is a bit of a strange setup having the hotel name for one city and the office in a completely different state, but that is just how it worked out for us. We spend our days handling the back-end stuff like records and administration from this spot in Baripada. It is a quiet town compared to the big city, and our office is just a regular building without much decoration. We have a few filing cabinets and a desk that has seen better days. When the phone rings, it is usually someone asking about the hotel, and we have to make sure we have all the right details in front of us. We aren't some big corporate team with suits and ties. We just wear our regular clothes and get through the paperwork. Sometimes the mail takes a while to reach us here in Orissa from Ahmedabad. We just keep track of the bills and the bookings as they come in. It is a steady routine that keeps us busy from morning until evening. We don’t really do any advertising or anything like that. We just focus on keeping the records straight for the hotel and managing the files we have.
