We are tucked away in 9 Shah Apartments over in Vakilwadi. It’s right across from L.G. Hospital in Maninagar. If you’ve been to that part of Ahmedabad, you know how hectic it gets around the hospital. We’ve been running this travel setup for a bit, mostly helping people figure out where they’re going. It’s a lot of looking at screens and talking on the phone with airlines and hotels. The office is small and filled with papers and maps. We aren’t some big flashy agency you see on TV. It’s just us sitting at desks trying to get the details right for someone’s trip. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait, but that’s just how it goes. Maninagar is a lively place to be rooted. We see all kinds of people coming through the doors. Some want to go far away, others just need a quick ticket. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything like that. Most people find us because they live nearby or their cousin told them about us. It’s a regular job for us. We keep the files in order and try to answer the phone before the third ring. It’s a bit cramped with all the brochures, but it feels like home to us now. We keep a radio playing to drown out the sirens from the hospital. It helps us focus on the booking forms during the day.
