Etihad Airways

Started working here at Sursagar Appt a while back. It is just an office in Ahmedabad where we handle things for Etihad Airways. Most days it is about answering phones and dealing with people who show up looking for help with their flights. The B/82 spot isn't huge but it fits us. Sometimes the air conditioning acts up when it gets really hot outside in Gujarat, which is pretty often. We sit here at our desks and look through schedules all day long. It is not fancy. People come in upset because their plans changed or they lost something, and we just try to figure it out for them. There is a lot of paperwork, honestly. More than you would think for an airline. We have some tea in the afternoon and talk about the weekend. The building is okay, nothing special, but it is where we spend most of our time. Usually, it is quiet until someone has a real problem with a booking. We do not have a big sign or anything flashy. Just the address and our computers. Some of us have been here for years and we know the regulars who travel a lot for work. It is just a job like any other, keeping things moving so people can get to where they are going. Nothing more to it than that. We just stay busy with the files and the phone calls until it is time to head home.
