Doon World Travels

Doon World Travels is located at 42, Sukhdham Appts. in the Old Wadej area of Ahmedabad. We are right across from the Hare Krishna Tower, which is the easiest way to find us if you are visiting. Shantinagar is a busy part of town, but our office inside the apartments is relatively quiet most of the time. It is a modest space for a travel business. We have a couple of desks, some chairs for visitors, and shelves full of old files from trips we have planned over the years. We aren't a big travel corporation with glossy posters everywhere. It is more like a small family office. We spend most of our time on the phone or checking train and flight timings on the computer screen. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we have to wait around, which is just how it goes here in the 380013 area. We know a lot of the people who live in Sukhdham Appts, and they often stop by just to say hello or ask a quick question about a passport or a train ticket. We do not have a big marketing budget to spend. Most people find out about us from their neighbors or friends. It is a very local way of doing things. The traffic on the main road can be loud, but once you come inside, it is just us and the humming of the fans.
