Devraj Caterers

We run Devraj Caterers right out of our place in the Shivalay Apartments, which is L-138/1646 if you are looking for the exact door. We are in the Naranpura area, right across from the Shiv Temple on Sola Road. It’s a good location because everyone knows the temple, so it makes it easy for people to find us when they want to talk about food for an event. We started doing this because our family always loved cooking for big groups during festivals. Now, we handle all sorts of gatherings, from small house parties to bigger functions in the neighborhood. Our kitchen is usually a very busy place, especially during the wedding season. We don't have a big office with a secretary; usually, it's just one of us answering the phone while the other is checking on the stove. We do a lot of traditional local dishes that people around here like. It’s hard work, standing on your feet all day and moving heavy pots, but we enjoy seeing people eat well. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. Most of our work comes from neighbors telling their friends about us after a party. Sola Road is always crowded, but we managed to make a decent name for ourselves here. We just focus on getting the flavors right and making sure there is enough food for everyone. That’s pretty much how we’ve always done things.
