Our office is at 4, Avani Row House, which sits right opposite the Rajhans Society in Ahmedabad. Being in Gujarat, it gets incredibly hot during the summer months, so we spend a lot of time making sure the coolers are working right. The Row House setup is nice because it feels a bit more like a home than a stiff office building. We deal with drilling stuff, which is a lot of technical talk and logistics that wouldn't mean much to most people. Our desks are covered in papers and maps, and there is usually someone on the phone trying to coordinate something in a distant field. We’ve been in this Ahmedabad neighborhood for a while, and the people at Rajhans Society across the street are used to seeing our trucks or staff coming and going. It’s a practical place where we don't worry about looking polished. If someone walks in, they’ll see we are busy and things are a bit cluttered. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep going. The 380006 area is a good spot to be, even if the parking can be a bit of a nightmare sometimes. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't; we just handle our drilling business from this little corner of the city. It’s a straightforward life here, focused on the equipment and the next job we have to get done. We just keep our heads down and work.
