Dav International School, Ahmedabad is situated right off Pralahadnagar Corporate Road, just a bit ahead of the Vodafone Corporate House. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when the buses start rolling in. The school grounds are usually filled with the sound of kids running around before the first bell rings. We have teachers who have been with us for a while, and they really know the local families. The classrooms are just standard rooms where we try to keep things orderly while the students learn their lessons. Since we are near the corporate hub, there’s always a lot of traffic nearby, but inside the gates, it feels a bit different. We don’t spend much time on fancy speeches; we just focus on the schedule and making sure the children are where they need to be. The heat in Ahmedabad can be quite something in the afternoons, so we all look forward to the shade in the courtyard. Parents often stop by to talk about their kids' progress or just to drop off a forgotten lunchbox. It’s a busy environment, but we’ve found a rhythm that works for everyone. Makarba has changed a lot since we started, with more buildings going up, but the school stays pretty much the same day to day. We just keep doing what we do, handling the paperwork and the classes as they come.
