We are based in Ahmedabad, specifically around the Ashok Saha area. It is a part of the city that stays pretty active throughout the day and into the night. Our work here is mostly about keeping the place running and making sure the guests have what they need. We don't have a giant headquarters with glass walls; we just work out of this building. Most days are spent checking on the rooms and seeing to it that the kitchen is stocked up. It can get a bit loud with the traffic outside, but that’s Ahmedabad for you. We aren't a big team of corporate types. We’re just regular people who have been working in the city for a long time. Sometimes things don't go perfectly, like a tap leaking or a reservation getting mixed up, but we just fix it and move on. We don't use those fancy slogans or big words you might see in travel magazines. We just focus on the basics like clean sheets and a decent breakfast. The building has some age to it, but we think that gives it a bit of character. We’ve seen the neighborhood grow and change over the years, with new shops and buildings going up all around us.
