The Country Inn and Suites here in Ahmedabad is located on Drive In Road, right at the Surdhara Circle. It’s a busy intersection, so there is always a lot of noise from the cars and rickshaws outside. We are a hotel, but we try to keep things feeling a bit more down-to-earth than the really big chains. The lobby is where everything happens, with guests checking in and asking for directions to the local markets. Our staff is mostly local people who know the city well. The building itself is easy to spot because of the location. We spend a lot of time making sure the rooms are tidy and the breakfast is ready on time. It gets very busy during the morning rush when everyone is trying to leave for their meetings. Sometimes the elevators are a bit slow when the hotel is full, but guests are usually patient. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just provide a room and a bed for people visiting Ahmedabad. The area around Surdhara Circle has a lot of shops, so there is always somewhere to walk to. In the evenings, the lights of the city look quite good from the upper floors. It is a lot of work to keep a place like this running, but we have a good team that has been here for years. It's just a regular hotel doing its thing.
