Counter Staff In Holiday Department

I work as part of the counter staff in the holiday department, and our background is tied to the S.S.C. Gujarat Board 200 standards. We are basically the people you see first when you walk in to ask about a vacation or a short trip. Our setup is very basic, just a long counter with some stools and a couple of old monitors where we look up the latest holiday packages. It’s a busy job because there is always someone coming in with a different idea of where they want to go. We spend most of the day talking to people and trying to figure out what fits their budget and their time. The office doesn't have any expensive decorations, just some faded posters of beaches and mountains taped to the walls. We take our work seriously but we don't use any of those big corporate words to describe it. It’s just about being behind the counter and helping out whoever walks through the door. Sometimes we have to deal with a lot of paperwork or the printer jams right when we need it, but that’s just part of the daily routine here. We have a small staff and we all know each other well, so the atmosphere is quite relaxed despite the constant stream of visitors. It’s a practical, everyday sort of job in the holiday department, and we just take it one day at a time without any fancy promises. We just want to get the details right.
