We are based out of Sarvoday Nagar - 3 in Ghatlodia, right across from the Karnavati Society. It is a pretty busy spot on K.K. Nagar Road. At Cocohol Tours, we spend our time planning trips for people who want to see different parts of India or go abroad. It sounds like fun, and it is, but it is also a lot of looking at maps and checking bus schedules. We have got a small office at number 156. It is usually filled with brochures and maps that we have collected over the years. We are not a huge travel agency with branches everywhere. We are just a local team that knows how to get things booked. Sometimes the phones do not stop ringing and everyone wants to go to the same place at the same time, which gets a bit chaotic. We try to keep our cool and get everyone sorted. We have had people come to us for years because they know we will actually answer the phone if something goes wrong while they are on their trip. Ahmedabad is a great city to work in, even if the traffic on K.K. Nagar Road can be a nightmare sometimes. We do not promise anything impossible. We just try to find decent hotels and reliable transport for a fair price. It is basic, honest work and we like seeing the photos people send back from their holidays. (251 words)
