We are situated at 7/Meghdut Appartment, which is right across from the Times of India building on Ashram Road. This is one of the busiest parts of Ahmedabad, so there’s always a lot of noise and energy right outside our windows. The pincode is 380009. We use this flat as our base for managing memberships and talking to people about their vacation plans. It’s a fairly basic setup with some desks, a few cupboards for files, and some photos of different holiday spots pinned to a corkboard. The apartment building itself has been around for a long time. The elevator is a bit small and sometimes it’s faster to just use the stairs if you're only going up a floor or two. Working on Ashram Road means we are right in the middle of everything. We usually see the newspaper delivery trucks coming and going from the building across the street. Our day is mostly filled with phone calls and computer work. It can get a bit hectic when a lot of people are trying to book their holidays at the same time, but we just take it one task at a time. We don’t have any fancy lobby or receptionists in uniforms. It’s just us in our regular clothes, trying to keep everything organized. The tea stall downstairs is where we get our morning fix. We’ve been at Meghdut for a while and the location is really convenient for everyone.
