Central Industrial Security Force (Mha)

This is the office for the Central Industrial Security Force located in Gandhinagar. We are specifically at Q.No.300/5 in Sector-13. It is a quiet government residential area mostly. Being part of the Ministry of Home Affairs means there is always a lot of protocol and paperwork to follow every single day. We handle security matters for industrial units and other important places. Living and working out of Sector-13 has its own rhythm. The mornings start early with drills or briefings. It is not like a regular corporate job where you just sit at a desk and type all day. There is a lot of movement and different shifts that people have to cover. We have been stationed here in Gujarat for quite some time. The building itself is standard government housing but it serves its purpose for the staff and officers. We don't really do much in the way of public relations or fancy talk because the nature of the work is quite serious and straightforward. Usually, people who come here are looking for official clearances or are part of the force themselves. It is a lot of duty and making sure the rules are being followed correctly at all times. There is a sense of routine that keeps everything running. It is definitely a different lifestyle compared to the private sector but we are used to it by now. It is just the way things are done here at the CISF.
