Captain

We are based out in Barapada, which is near Khantapada in the Balsore district of Orissa. This isn't a big city operation at all. Umesh Nayak started things here and we’ve just kept it going. It’s a very local business and we know most of the people who live around these parts. Our building is simple and doesn't have any of the bells and whistles you see in the big town offices. We deal with whatever comes our way, mostly helping out the local community with their needs. The air is a lot fresher here than in the cities, and we have plenty of trees around us. Life moves at its own pace in Balsore. We don't have a website or a social media manager. We just have a phone and a desk where we sit and talk to people. Sometimes the power goes out during the monsoon rains, and we just light some lamps and wait it out. It’s an honest way to work. We don't try to impress anyone with fancy titles or polished brochures. We just do our bit every day. Most of our neighbors stop by just to say hello or share some news. It’s a friendly place to be. We handle the paperwork by hand mostly, and keep everything in old-fashioned folders. It’s a quiet life, but we stay busy enough to keep the doors open.
