Cama Hotel , Ahmedabad

So, Cama Hotel has this spot at 1001, Mohini Apartment. It is on Judges Bungalow Road in Ahmedabad. That road is usually pretty busy with cars and bikes all day long. Being in Gujarat, the weather gets really hot, so being inside the apartment is a bit of a relief. It is a high floor, so you can see a bit of the city from the windows. We spend a lot of time here just getting things organized. It is not like the actual hotel lobby or anything; it is more of an administrative space where the real work happens behind the scenes. The building itself is an older one, Mohini Apartment, but it is sturdy. You have to wait for the lift sometimes, which can be annoying when you are in a rush. There are some nice trees along the road outside, which makes it look a bit greener than some other parts of Ahmedabad. We have a few small rooms for different tasks. It is mostly just people sitting at computers or talking on the phone. Sometimes we bring in snacks to share during the afternoon slump. It is a very normal office vibe. No one wears suits unless there is a big meeting. Usually, it is just regular clothes and getting things done. It feels like a small community inside the bigger city. We know the security guards and the people in the neighboring units too. It is a decent place to be.
