Our office is tucked away inside the Delhi Public School campus right near the Bopal Square. If you’re coming from the railway crossing, you’ll find us easily. It’s a busy area with kids and buses moving around all day. We’ve been operating from this corner of Bopal for quite some time. Most of our work involves the foundation's projects, which keeps us at our desks for most of the morning. You can hear the school bell ring every hour, which helps us keep track of time without looking at a clock. We have a small team here. It’s not a corporate setup at all. There are stacks of paper everywhere and a few old computers that still work well enough for what we need. We drink a lot of chai from the stall just outside the gates. The heat in Bopal can get pretty intense in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. Sometimes we have visitors coming in to ask about our programs, and we just sit them down and explain how things work. It’s straightforward. We don’t go for anything flashy. The walls are mostly bare except for some calendars and notes pinned up. It feels like a workplace where things actually get done. We know our neighbors and the school staff pretty well. It’s a comfortable routine we have going on here. We don't spend money on fancy signs or advertising because we think people find us when they need to.
